Ken CK Lam (ckLam Photography) has added a photo to the pool:
Don't regret anything you do, because in the end, it makes you who you are.

And there you have it. This is the end of my 365 Days of Photography album. This will be a long post, so be prepared for it. A little bit of history: I started this project back in the end of 2010 to keep myself busy and not thinking about some people, some troubles and whatnot. The project initially kicked off as some sorts of a photo diary in which I committed myself into taking one picture per day. It sure has taken several different forms over the year. One thing remained unchanged all along: not only did I want it to be different everyday, but I also wanted to give a meaning to every single photo that I take. This is where the quotes came into play. I’m not sure whether adding a quote to all 365 photos is a new idea or not, but I have decided that this will be my commitment for this project.
Theoretically, this album should’ve ended sometime in December of 2011. Truth is, my creativity ran into a bottleneck and I wasn’t sure if this project is worth pursuing. Need I mention how much sleeps and time I have lost just because of this project? But let me tell you one thing, I did not regret starting this album for it has brought me way more than what I have lost. During this project, more people have known me through my photography from Facebook and Flickr. I even got to meet great artists that share the same passion. I also got my first Explore at the beginning of this project. People that I have never met sent me messages on facebook and flickr every once in a while telling me how my photos have inspired them. I’m nowhere near a professional photographer, but if this album has inspired you in one way or another at a certain point of time, it makes the time and sleep that I lost all worthwhile. If there’s one thing that keeps this thing going, this is it. Finally, I’d like to take the time to thank all of you who have shown your support and have left me kind comments all these time. It really means a lot to me.
It sure feels a bit empty inside now that this project ended. Before moving on to any new photography project, I guess I’ll need a short break!
